TROOPER Helmet

This concept was initiated by Destroyer Equipment, a Utah based action sports company dedicated to protecting skaters, cyclists and snow sport athletes from the hazards of head injuries. The brief was to design a multi category helmet for the bike and skate markets that would put a premium on how the rider looked during their commute than how core they were about skating and riding. The initial inspiration was from the Star Wars Storm Trooper helmet, but several other concepts were added to ensure that additional possibilities were explored. Concept direction, sketches and three dimensional computer models were built by Treibdesign to help define the concept.
